Edgewater Equestrian is a private Hunter/Jumper program geared towards riders with show aspirations. We are based out of Clermont, Ga and travel to surrounding areas offering lessons, equine training, consignment sales, leases, and a full show schedule with GHJA local and USEF rated shows. We have multiple equestrian teams to join including a very successful middle and high school IEA team, adult IEA team, as well as the University of North Georgia's hunt seat team.
Our head trainer, Chelsea Cates, specializes in Hunters, Jumpers, & Equitation. She has many years of expertise in the equine industry along with experience coaching and competing at the collegiate level and up to the national level in Equitation. She focuses on teaching quality horsemanship, a correct equitation foundation, and effective riding skills to further develop your riding career. She has a special passion for working with off the track thoroughbreds.
